Planet Hollywood is a restaurant-bar-boutique, and entertainment
center designed to promote and foster the worldwide fascination
for the movies and the glamorous celebrities that fashion the
industry of Hollywood.
Founders
The Planet Hollywood concept originated in 1989, from Keith
Barish, renamed producer ( 9" 1/2 weeks", "The
Fugitive" , etc.) and Robert Earl, famous restaurateur. In
1991, Keith and Robert invited Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester
Stallone and Bruce Willis as shareholders of the Planet Hollywood
concept, adding Demi Moore to the list at the Washington D.C.
opening in 1993. The most recent partner includes Whoopi Goldberg.
Decor
Stunningly designed to accentuate the allure, style and excitement
of stardom, Planet Hollywood is creatively set in a surrealist
ecosystem adorned with Hollywood memorabilia.
Memorabilia
Includes
objects such as: The animated vampires head from the film "Interview
with the Vampire", the combat jacket worn by Sylvester Stallone
in "Rocky III", glasses worn by Arnold Schwarzenegger
in the movie "Terminator 2" , and a pair of pants worn
by Bruce Willis in "Die hard with a Vengeance" just
to name a few. The traditional facade accentuates the decor including
the figures of Antonio Banderas, Tom Cruise, Sharon Stone, King
Kong, Madonna, Marilyn Monroe, etc.

Planet Hollywood menu offers fresh and healthy California
Style cuisine such as pizzas, pastas, oriental specialities, burgers,
a large selection of poultry beef and fish, salads and a full
range of deserts including Arnold Schwarzenegger´s mother
traditional Apple Strudel.
