Climate
Cancun has a tropical humid climate. Average daily: January-March,
68-86°F (20-30°C); April-June, 71-89°F (22-32°C);
July-September, 75- 91°F (24-33°C); October-Dec., 68-87°F
(20-31°C).
Language
Spanish is the official language and English is spoken in the
Hotel Zone and other resorts area. The rural population is bilingual,
speaking Maya and Spanish.
What to Wear
Dressing is casual, however most restaurants do not allow bare
feet and bathing suits. Finer restaurants prefer pants, skirts
or dresses to shorts and t- shirts. Bring cotton summer wear
and one long sleeved shirt or sweater for cooler winter evenings.
