Description of Services and Operation Procedures for
Jungle,Mangrove & Snorkeling Tours

The client is received on the main dock reception area. He is welcomed, asked to read the safety rules and invited to sign the release of liability and indemnity agreement. Thereafter he is provided with a lifejacket and the snorkeling gear (Mask, Snorkel and Fins). Afterwards, the group is briefed on the description of activities, safety and navigational rules, ecological and reef preservation measures and boat operating information, Should there be any questions, these will be kindly answered by our personnel. The clients may board the boats.

Lifejackets must be worn from this point until the service is completed. The group departs from our dock; all boats must follow the tour guide in one line through the shallow area known as "La Zeta ", to head South towards the ' Nizuc River ' and go East to Nizuc bridge; turn left to the North, and stop at the designated area on Nizuc Reef. (This ride takes approximately 25 to 35 minutes from D.T.). Since the Reef is a National Marine Park, regulations require that at this point all operators stop their boat and follow the tour guide's instructions.

Boats are tied to the designated buoys and the tour guide supervises and assists clients while they swim and snorkel. Snorkeling time is approximately 45 minutes, during which the client enjoys the view of an incredible variety of tropical fish and coral formations. When the snorkeling time is up, guests board the boat for refreshments. The tour guide assists clients at all times and helps them untie and start the boats to proceed through the same route back to the departure point.

The approximate total time for this tour is two to two and a half hours. Each boat carries two passengers; single passangers wanting to have an exclusive boat need to pay the cost of two people, otherwise the passanger goes with the tour guide.

Mangrove Tour: Client is received on the main dock reception area. He is welcomed, asked to read the safety rules and invited to sign the release of liability and indemnity agreement. Afterwards the group is briefed on the description of activities, safety and navigational rules, and boat operating information. Should there be any questions, these will be kindly answered by our personnel. Thereafter said client proceeds to board the boat.

Lifejackets must be worn from this point until the service is completed. The route departs from our dock. Boats must follow the tour guide in one line going North to the " Sigfrido " channel, heading West, and entering the different mangrove channels enjoying the wildlife and tropical vegetation.

Exiting the channels, boats enter Nichupte lagoon heading South to " Love Lagoon " and turn East to departure point. This exciting ride takes approximately one to one and a half hours. Each boat carries two passengers. Single passengers wanting an exclusive boat need to pay the cost of two people otherwise said person goes with the tour guide.

Jets, Outboards and Watercraft Rentals: Client is received on the rentals counter. He is welcomed, asked to read the safety rules and invited to sign the release of liability and indemnity agreement. Thereafter he is briefed on the description of the service, the safety and navigational rules, boat operation and designated rental areas. Should there be any questions, these will be kindly answered by our personnel. Whereafter the client may proceed to board the boat. Lifejackets must be worn from this point until the service is completed. The Client operates the watercraft for the specified period of time while complying with our safety regulations.

Our security personnel and patrol informs said client when time is up, after which boat must be returned to the departure point. Our company will not provide motorized vehicle rentals to minors under sixteen years old unless accompanied by parent or tutor. Parents may drive with their children when signing liability for them .

Bussines Hours: Our working hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.

Reservations are received until 8:00 p.m. daily. All our tours require previous reservation specially in high season. Rentals DO NOT require reservations and are provided on a First Come, First Serve basis. Rentals are subject to equipment availability and our company requires the client to sign and leave an open voucher on a major credit card as a guarantee.

For your own safety, we reserve the right to cancel services under bad weather conditions.

Insurance and Liabilities: Our company has an open policy on Personal Accidents and Liabilities which exceeds the Mexican legal requirements.
