Description |
The
community of Punta Laguna is located in the old highway
that goes from New Xcan to Tulum, about 20 kilometers west
of the archaeological zone of Cobá. It is not the only place
where the nature shows off its attractiveness, since other
lakes of comparative beauty exist in the area. However, here,
local residents of the area have chosen to attempt, through
the years, to handle an " eco-tourist park ". At the same
time, they are showing part of their culture and traditions
to the visitors. They're also offering handmade local products
that give more to the experience of those who venture to know
one of the most beautiful corners in the Peninsula of Yucatan.
