Description |
•
Flashback is a group made up of four fantastic musicians: Arturo
Solis (drums) Ivan Solis (guitar) Rene Solis (bass) and Andres Avendaño
(keyboards and sax) with sixteen years of experience and ten years
together as a band.
•
Most of their earlier musical experience was in recording studios
and accompanying big Mexican artist like: Enrique Guzman,Julio Revueltas,
Benny Ibarra,etc showing a cute musical versatility.
•
In 1996 they performed seasonally in places like Hard Rock Café
highlighting the styles of: Queen, Chicago, Earth, Wind & fire,
Elvis Presley,etc; many of their presentations were in theaters,
hotels, convention centers, outdoor festivals and T.V. shows all
around Mexico.
•
Finally they moved to Cancun around 1998 continuing to perform in
places like: The Royal Bandstand, Hard Rock Café, Carlos
& Charlies, Planet Hollywood, etc; for companies like Coca Cola,
The Rotary Club, Scheneider Electric, Cannon, Yamaha, in various
hotels including: The Ritz-Carlton, J.W. Marriott, Oasis, Casa Magna,
Melia, etc.
•
In 1999 they represented Mexico in Costa Maya festival held on the
island of Sn. Pedro in Belize.
•
Also participated in the Cancun Jazz Festival in 2003 & 2004.
• In 2004 they were selected from several bands to perform
for I.B.M., Mitsubishi, and Warner Brothers.
