Enjoy breathtaking views of the central valley and travel through impressive countryside where they grow the majority of the vegetables that are consumed in the country. Arrive and stroll over the moonlike landscape of the surroundings of the Volcano´s main crater, one of the few that you can reach right to the edge. After this, take a short ride to a restaurant of “tico” style food and afterwards visit the Basilica of the Virgin of the Angels, where catholic pilgrims come every year to celebrate the officially accepted appearance of the virgin in 1635.
