The
restaurant is beautiful; a typical Costa Rican rancho style building
that got a Bay Area makeover, and the natural woods that are used
throughout are accented by the funky lamps and lovely tile work.
There are two bars, one for imbibing from their impressive liquor
selection or drink menu, and one where Chef Kevin Mulry throws down,
al fresco.
The
menu has a nice variety, and while many of the main ingredients
are those commonly found in the area, the manner in which Dragonfly
is serving them is original. Other recommendations given to us by
the dining locals were the wood-roasted chicken and wood-fired red
snapper. The salads also looked delicious.
Open
not even a week at the time of writing, it appears that word is
quickly getting out. With a nice, relaxed atmosphere, lovely bar,
and truly good food, this place is sure to become a favorite in
town.
