For all the fishing aficionados, Scuba Du, our in-house water
activities shop, offers private charters with our excellent
crew, who have over 10 years of experience fishing in the
waters near Cozumel. The boats are all custom made and fully
equipped with 2 chairs, 5 fishing lines, shade and sunny area
and lavatory. In the fishing season (March through July) you
can catch: Blue and White Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, Dolphin
(Mahi Mahi) and Tuna and all year we catch Mackerel, Barracuda,
Amberjack, Snapper, and Grouper.
SNORKELING WITH SCUBA DU
Scuba Du snorkeling trips go to three of Cozumel´s
favorite reefs: Colombia Shallows, the spectacular Palancar
Reef, and the world famous Chankanaab Reef. Then a stop
for a buffet lunch at a beach club. There are kayaks, a
couple of small sailboats, pool and volleyball and a full
bar for your enjoyment. This trip departs at 9:00am from
the Resort’s pier in front of Scuba Du and you will
be back around 2:00pm. You will see a lot of the marine
life that Cozumel is so famous for on this trip, including
angel fish, butterfly fish, parrot fish, groupers, blue
tangs, trigger fish and maybe a stingray or turtle!! Includes
: Snorkel gear (mask, fins, vest if needed), Mexican buffet
lunch at the beach club, Three different reefs (approximately
40 minutes each), Beers and soft drinks, Divemaster to guide
you.
