Pirate Ship Cruises of Cabo

Description

History

The tall ship SUNDERLAND is giving pirate history cruises from the port of Cabo San Lucas . In an area rich in pirate lore and buried treasure. For those who think Baja is only about Missions and cave painting can not afford to miss this aspect of the local history.
This ship is very similar to the one Thomas Cavendish used to take the Spanish Treasure galleon "Santa Ana" in this very port.
From the minute, you step aboard and see the crew in pirate garb and feel the wooden deck under your feet you know you are on to something special. Real working cannons poking their snub noses from gun ports complete the feeling of stepping backward through time. On our way out of the harbor you will hear the pirate history of Cabo while watching the crew.

at work high overhead in the rigging if you like, you can help haul the lines to raise and trim the sails. Take the wheel and feel the world famous arch, Land's end and into Pacific. Where else can you get chance to actually steer a tall ship built in 1885.

This boat is big! Over one hundred feet long a nineteen feet wide. It's big, roomy, and stable. Nobody is confined a seat on this tour.
Although the ship departures are from Monday thru Saturday from the Plaza Las Glorias dock, It is also available for private groups and special outings.
It is hard to find a better entertainment deal anywhere else.
