The
beach ´El Anclote´ is located 21 km north of Puerto
Vallarta. This 300 meters long and 15 meters wide beach is
known for its gentle waves. On the far right fisher boats
are anchored, and can be rented to make a trip to the Marietas
Islands, or to practice snorkeling, diving or fishing. El
Anclote offers many services and has a considerable population.
Its waters
are surrounded by rocks, simulating a natural shore. The sand
is white and fine and the calm crystal waters have the color
emerald green.
The fishermen
beaches are famous for their restaurants specialized in fish
and fresh seafood, transparent warm waters that allow you
to get to know the astonishing underwater world with reefs
and fauna like turtles, stingrays, lobsters, and many more.
