Ek´ Balam archaeological zone is located at 180 kilometers east of Merida, in the municipality of Temozón - The impressive Acropolis is the only construction of the site that is not completely open to the public due to the present restoration of the structure. The archaeological zone of Ek´ Balam opens every day of the year. The admission fee is $10 for visitor, except Sundays- free access to the site.
